In this ongoing course, we will be meeting once a week. During our weekly class we will be learning about a different planet each class. It is important to learn the job of an astronaut and gain an understanding of how they learn about planets. We will be discussing the chosen planet each class and the science behind it (in a developmentally appropriate approach). Students will come out of this course with a great foundation of the different planets! This is a perfect course for children who are fascinated with space! All classes will be based off of a presentation. Classes are all discussion based and end with an open ended art activity.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
