🔬 🔭 📡 This is an exciting Science Self Paced Class that will cover the Introduction to Life Sciences, Origin of Earth, Animal Intelligence, Intro Quantum Physics, and STEM. Do you worry that your child is not grasping science topics or falling behind and not interested in science? This class is a great way to supplement your child's science journey and/or other live classes they may be taking. The entire class, videos, study sheets, and nearpod activities below were made and compiled by me Dr. Ruth for an enjoyable and unique learning experience.🙋‍♀️ I also follow the concept of Montessori in that any additional materials that I send have no grading system and are self-grading.

The age of the student will be no problem as long as the parent or caregiver feels that their child may benefit from the course. Any child of any age is welcome in my class.
 
My method of teaching will emphasize lectures through my homemade videos, brief discussions, study sheets, and fun quizzes for each segment. Note: If the child is younger and has difficulty reading the parent may help the child by reading the study sheet and quizzes to the child.🏭 📈📊

😄Note: This course is a beginner 🦾"power" science course and is geared toward all learners. It is not an in-depth course in all these subjects but is a great course for those who want a cursory understanding of the topics discussed. This will prepare them to better understand each topic when they eventually take these subjects in school. It will also be helpful for those students who are already taking similar courses but need a summary to better understand the topic(s)

RULES PRIOR TO ENROLLING IN OUTSCHOOL CLASSES: No refunds once the class starts. Please read over the class description to make sure this class fits your child. Please be courteous and not enroll if you plan on canceling the class "just to test it out".  This is not permitted in Outschool classes. The teachers have made great effort in making the videos and worksheets. The classes are offered at a very low price so we encourage you to complete the classes once you have enrolled your learner and NOT cancel it. No adults are allowed to purchase this class for themselves as it is meant for a child to view that is at the appropriate age or developmental age level. Outschool has strict policies that an adult is not to purchase any classes for themselves.

* Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for science literacy begin in earnest at the middle school level. Grades 5 and mostly grades 6-8 Science literacy standards place heavy emphasis on reading comprehension, with students being asked to read scientific texts and identify key terms and main ideas. Science literacy standards are banded together into three groups: one for middle school (grades 6-8) and two for high school (grades 9-10 and 11-12). These standards are intended to prepare students to meet both academic and professional challenges, such as entry-level employment and college.
