This class is a continuation of Level 2 - Beginner Violin Group Class. If your learner has not taken that class, please contact me to ensure that the level will be appropriate. As long as your violinist can play simple songs on the A and E strings and knows the note names from A through F#, they will fit right in! Learners in Level 2 would have covered songs like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Lightly Row, French Folk Song & Mary Had a Little Lamb. NOTE READING IS NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS...
Violinists will continue to advance in their skills while getting more comfortable reading notes in the treble clef on the A and E strings. We will also aim to play more on the D and G strings and learn about transposition (the skill of moving a piece to a different key).
