Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. *Headphones to cancel out any home background noise is extremely helpful. Students are encouraged to treat this as an open class and engage as much as they prefer. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. (This is never required) It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! Practicing our painting is key to developing skills. With all of my classes , Concepts are revisited often to gain muscle memory and foster control of color, layering and brushes ------------------ I offer a few fun painting classes everyday on Outschool to practice our skills. ( Days and times vary each month) These are listed MONDAY through FRIDAY and I strive to upload a few NEW paintings each month! See you soon!

NEST Acrylic Paint Colors : Craft paints such as Apple barrel or Craft Smart dry quickly White yellow orange brown blue black warm red *optional premixed colors Yellow ochre 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. • SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point Smaller flat /angled brush • Small Detail round brush with a nice point. Size 3 or 4 • 2 Bowls of water •EXTRA paper towels and old hand towel for wiping excess paint. •Paper plate for paints and one for mixing. SETTING UP YOUR PAINT STATION: Long hair should be tied back Paint flat on a protected table surface. Please position ALL supplies on SAME SIDE of table NEXT TO the hand you paint with . Computer/device to be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of student and painting. • A headset is recommended .
