In this course, we will get an overview of the concepts that are used to play guitar. We will delve into the parts of the guitar and what they do, the string names, fret numbers, how to hold a pick, how chords work, and we will learn a simple melody. From beginners to professional musicians, all of music is built using fundamentals. Understanding these fundamentals on a deep level is imperative to having a rewarding experience in music! My teaching style is open so if your learner has questions they want answered, or even just want to share what music inspires them, they'll have an opportunity to do so!
