Do you love English? In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Writing genres in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young writers.

Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include discussions, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, songs, videos and much more.  Learners will be encouraged to write, revise and share what they write. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs.

Week of 14/4/25 - Learning: How to make a text more interesting
Week of 21/4/25 - The Weather: How to improve punctuation
Week of 28/4/25 - Stories: How to correct and edit your work
Week of 5/5/25 - Free time: How to write a letter of enquiry
Week of 12/5/25 - Home: How to write a detailed note
Week of 19/5/25 - Sleep and health: How to make and break arrangements
Week of 26/5/25 - Work: How to describe yourself in a letter of application
Week of 2/6/25 - Relationships: How to write a film review
Week of 9/6/25 - Character and flat-sharing: How to compare and contrast two places

Each week will include English language direction including spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, grammar and input on ideas. Learners are expected to complete their writing following each class and submit it via the classroom.
