In this one-time class, little learners will get to dip their toes into the acting world by participating in and experimenting with creative drama activities! Drama is an excellent way to learn by doing! It features the child as an active participant in the learning process instead of just a passive observer. It promotes cognitive, emotional, physical and social development and can be used to teach a wide range of subjects.

Throughout the class, the teacher will walk the learners through a number of creative drama exercises that will allow them to not only mimic the teacher, but to tap into their own creativity by playing pretend. Learners will practice manipulating their bodies and voices to portray a number of characters, exploring a variety of emotions, cooperating and taking turns with peers, and exploring different ways to move about the space and use their bodies.
