Terraria is an amazing game! It is one of my favorite games. However, finding others to play with can be challenging sometimes. 
Students enrolled in this class will have access to my own private server during class time. 
This class is only available for Terraria on the computer. Console and mobile Terraria will not work for this class.

***PLEASE READ*************************************** 
There are several different times for this class.  Each class is independent of the other classes. 

The SUNDAY class is a free for all, cheats allowed, anything goes class. We will load up a cool world (sometimes I download cool maps for us to use), we will hang out in game together. Players are welcome to bring whatever items they want – no limits. We can fight bosses, PVP, build stuff, pretty much whatever we want to do. 

The classes on other days will be played through legitimately. Players will need to only use items that are available according to our current progression in game. 

Each class time will be a separate world from other class times. For example, Tuesday at 9pm will play on “World A”, Wednesday at 2pm will play on “World B”, etc. Each week we will continue progression on our current world. So, if a student signs up for both Tuesday and Wednesday, they will be played on different worlds.

It is important for these legitimate playthroughs that players follow the progression of the game as bringing in items past current progression will make the game too easy and ruin the experience for others. 

We will be mostly playing on journey mode in all classes (as it makes it easier to duplicate and share items with each other and reduces arguing over who get what rare item. Students must create a new character in journey mode upon the first time joining the world.
Student do NOT need to attend previous classes to join. Students are free to join and leave anytime. 

This class will encourage and practice teamworking skills and cooperative play, social skills, critical thinking skills to accomplish group and individual goals, respect, and manners. These are skills that will be useful in many aspects of life. 

To ensure everyone has a positive experience while playing there will be rules. (We may decide as a class to add additional rules as issues arise).
a.	The server is family friendly. No inappropriate language or content.
b.	No griefing! Do not steal other players items or destroy their creations.
c.	Respect! No bullying! We will all be friendly, fair, and respectful. 
Failure to follow these rules will result in the player being temporarily removed from the server. Continued violations will result in a permanent ban from the server. 

Students enrolled in the class will have access to the server during class time as long as they are currently enrolled in the class. 
During the class we will work on a variety of projects together including mining for resources, building structures, fighting bosses, and more! While playing we will also discuss Terraria and other appropriate topics that come up in class. 

Students wishing to join the server should create a new character in journey mode. Once class has started, I will give the server access information.
