Now that we can play B-A-G on the recorder, it's time to add some new notes! We will begin to use the right hand to add the notes C-D-E. With these notes, we can now play the songs "Old MacDonald had a Farm," "It's Raining, It's Pouring," and "Skin and Bones." By the end of this course, students will be able to play the first 6 notes on the recorder. During this course we will also learn how to read music notes and rhythms. Students will need a good student quality soprano recorder with Baroque fingerings. Please email me if you are unsure if your recorder is okay for this class. Students should also have something they can comfortable put on their wrist, such as a bracelet or hair band. Please print the resources that go with this course.
