This course is for students who have mastered B, A, G, and C. They can easily play songs such as Hot Cross Buns, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Shave and a Haircut, and Baby Shark. Students will work to master the notes B, A, G, C, D, and E. They will also be given an introduction to low F. As they learn to finger the notes on the recorder, they will also learn to read music on a musical staff and identify note values.
I am a public school general music teacher and flutist turned stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher! Recorder classes are a virtual offering of classes I have taught in the public school music class setting.
