Hey there!  If you're here, it's because you either love parkours or you like challenges.  Well, you've come to the right place!  In this ongoing class, you get to play in a parkour world I made called, "Parkour Park."  You can make your own parkour (one per student), compete in parkour races, or relax doing some parkours (no rush).  Anything you do will be parkour-related!  

Please read everything for a better experience for everyone.

This class is learner-led.  The class will not build upon each other as each week will be the same thing, doing parkour!

Before class, I need every student's game tag for Minecraft.  The guardian, or learner, can send this to me.  If I do not have the student's game tag, I cannot invite them into the Minecraft world for class.

How the class will run:
Everyone has 5 minutes to join the class.  No one will be able to join after that time as it will disrupt the class.  (Unless there is only one student enrolled, then they have ten minutes to join until the teacher leaves.)  Within those 5 minutes of class, everyone will say "hi" and introduce themselves.  If I do not have a game tag yet from some students, they can input it in chat (which will be directly to the host; me) during those 5 minutes.  If I don't have a game tag from students in class, they will only communicate via microphone.  They will be very, very bored.  To ensure that doesn't happen, please share the student's game tag with me before class.

After those 5 minutes, all students will disable their cameras but keep their microphones on.  Cameras being disabled (turned off) is a requirement as I can't supervise children via zoom (chat will be only to host) while playing on Minecraft and supervising them there.  If students do not know how to turn off their cameras, I can do so myself.  I will not be screen sharing, nor anyone else.

Students will be talking while playing, but they may use the chat in Minecraft if they want to.

Playing Minecraft and having zoom up on the same device is not suggested as I'm not sure this would work well, depending on the device you're on.  

Any device:
All students will keep their microphones on, cameras off, zoom minimized, and play on Minecraft.  

Things to know:
- Meet once a week
- 40 minutes long
- 6 students max
- Can join the world by invite only (to increase world security and privacy)
- Keep inventory is enabled
- Allowed to be on whatever game mode
- World is kept on peaceful (no monsters)

Players may join my world from:
Windows PCs, PlayStation, Xbox, Smartphone, Series S/X, iOS devices, iPadOS devices, and Android devices. 
(I play on Minecraft: Windows 10 Bedrock Edition)

Unfortunately, students cannot play if they are on a Nintendo Switch.  Supposedly, it's possible.  However, after officially testing it with over six students that had Nintendo Switch, none of them were able to join.  So, unfortunately, please be on one of the other devices listed above.

Rules (may be updated throughout time):
- Each student gets 3 chances.  Once 3 streaks are hit, that student is kicked out of that meeting and withdrawn from the course without a refund.  This is a must as I cannot reinforce behavior that upsets other students, or no one would have fun.

Harm any animal = 1 strike
Act inappropriate = 1 strike (depending on how inappropriate, more strikes may be applied)
Break anything that's not theirs = 1 strike (depending on the damage done, more strikes may be applied)
Build anywhere that's not their parkour = 1 strike
Kill a player or their animal = Removed from the class

In the game:
There are three separate areas.  The parkour race area: There are six parkour races.  The "make your own parkour" area: There are six lanes, one for each student to make one parkour.  Students are allowed to try other people's parkours and are encouraged to.  The last area is the relaxing parkour area: There are 19 parkours to do some easy, some a bit challenging, some fun and creative!
