Imagine a Minecraft world filled with colorful, friendly creatures—just like the Pokémon you love! In this class, you'll become a Pokémon Trainer and explore a vibrant land, encountering and catching all sorts of creatures, just as you would in the Pokémon games.

Your journey begins with your very first Pixelmon. You'll venture across beautiful landscapes, lush forests, and even find them near lakes or in hidden places. But catching them is only the beginning! You'll learn to train your creatures, level them up, and even evolve them into more powerful forms.

As you explore, you'll meet other trainers, make friends, and challenge them to friendly battles. Just like a true Pokémon Trainer, you'll engage in exciting battles, learning about type advantages, strategy, and how to become a skilled battler.

But it's not all about battles! You'll also embark on quests and solve puzzles while making your way through this thrilling world. There will be gym leaders to defeat, rare creatures to find, and mysteries to uncover, making your adventure both challenging and exciting.

The Cobblemon SMP Class is a fun and safe environment for learners. Mr Langley will guide you through this colorful world, ensuring you have an amazing time while learning important lessons about friendship, strategy, and problem-solving.

The mods included in this server have the following:

+ The Pokémon themselves.
+ Battling mechanics (PVP and PVE).
+ Trading abilities.
+ Decorative blocks like clocks and chairs.
+ Poké Marts where Poké Balls and Medicine can be exchanged for PokéDollars.
+ Boss Pokemon.
+ Assortment of new items- plus much more!

We will battle, collect and trade Pokemon. We will discover new environments and create a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone to enjoy! This weekly meetup is for students who like talking about Pokemon (and Minecraft), working together and helping one another in becoming the best versions of themselves!

What is required at the skill level:
This class is designed for players of the intermediate level as the learner will need moderate computer abilities, and extensive Minecraft and Pokemon experience. Students will also need to be familiar with computer folders (for Windows or Mac) and file browsing to get set up within the modified version of Minecraft.

What you can expect to see in this course:
We will discover and search the world of Pixelmon on our own hosted private server to build on our Pokemon careers. However, we must be careful- Pokemon bosses (and even other real players) are always near so it's important we defend and attack anything that may be a threat to our way of life! 

Below is an example schedule of what students can choose to follow in the weekly survival challenge. Or, they can choose to make their own destiny:

Week 1: 
Week beginning March 4 - Retrieve your first Pokemon and get to know them.

Week 2:
Week beginning  March 11 - Go explore and battle with other players.

Week 3:
Week beginning  March 18 - Trade and collect new Pokemon and make friends.

Week 4:
Week beginning  March 25 - Battle at the Pokemon Stadium!

We'll learn to communicate effectively with one another using leadership and teamwork skills. We will discover new environments and objectives within Cobblemon. We will also learn strategic methods for achieving those objectives using problem-solving techniques. We also might want to trade items with each other, sharing and helping one another. We will plan accordingly and build amazing projects that we will be super proud of! Guidance, useful hints and tricks will be picked up throughout the course of the journey. And along the way, we might even make some new friends!

Please note:
At the start of the class, I will provide the students with the server information that will enable them to access the private server. Please note that the first 5 minutes or less will be used to set up the game for new students who have enrolled on the course. Intermediate knowledge of Minecraft is needed to play with other students. The session topics will be learner-directed or dictated weekly due to current events. If you come across any problems or queries (even before you have enrolled) please let me know before any session begins and I will do my utmost to help you. Understandingly, under the circumstances that you are incapable of participating because of little preparation, I will not be able to provide a refund. Thank you.
