Students will be given encouragement, guidance and individual feedback in class while working on a painting. Students will learn the techniques to paint a colorful forest painting. Students will follow along while I demonstrate the step by step techniques to create in an impressionist style while receiving one on one critiques and tips. Students will need: * 1 canvas or canvas board. Water color or card stock paper can be used instead of canvas. Suggested size under 12" * Acrylic or tempera paint (red, blue, yellow, black and white) * Paper towels * Cup of water to rinse brushes * Paint brushes (medium and small sizes) * Palette or plate to put paints on Optional: * Apron * Newspaper/paper towels to cover work space
