In this flexible-schedule, 4-week course, students will learn how to create fifteen different fruits and vegetables, as well as baskets, with polymer clay! A new video will be available each week which will show, step-by-step, how to make that week’s project. Many of my classes here on OutSchool were inspired by a childhood obsession of mine and this one is no exception! I’ve been working with polymer clay since I was seven years old. I love tiny things, so I absolutely love making miniatures! I’m so excited to share my passion for miniatures with your learner(s)!

I use and recommend Sculpey Premo because of its high quality--however, Sculpey Souffle is also high-quality but is softer, so your learner might find it easier to work with. · Colors I Recommend: Red, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Dark Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Brown, and White · Sculpting tools: A basic set is fine. (If you don't have any tools yet, I'd recommend this well-priced set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VDQ74BB/) · Isopropyl Alcohol and Paper Towels (I like to cut mine into (4) squares, to conserve a bit :)) OR Baby Wipes · Adequate working space OPTIONAL, BUT RECOMMENDED: · Pipe cleaners for the basket during our 4th week (I will be showing how to make baskets from clay, as well, so these are optional) · Glaze for after baking
