The students in this class will be made aware of careers that involve having knowledge in game design and coding. We will look at examples of coded games and begin to learn how to code a playable game on Scratch.mit.edu. After they watch me, model, how to code using scratch and complete some simple coding. They will design, create, and troubleshoot their own game with my guidance and help. They will also have the opportunity to play the other student's games.

We will use Scratch.mit.edu to code and play coded games. We will use Nearpod.com so I can share my presentation with the students. We will use screen share to show examples of coding and so I can assist students with their code. We will use Kahoot.com to play a game that will help review at the end of class on some days. We will use Gimkit.com to play a game that will help review at the end of class on some days.
