In this one time Spanish class, we will learn Spanish greeting, introductions, and feelings through imitation, practice and repetition with puppets, games, chants, and song. Join us for a fun introduction to Spanish that can springboard your learner into my follow up four week, bi-weekly course of Spanish nursery rhymes, colors, shapes, numbers, days of the week and so much more. My teaching style is interactive as we learn how to introduce ourselves and make new friends, all in Spanish. Join me and ¡Vamos a aprender español!

Hello friends! I am teacher Jo F and I am absolutely fascinated with the intricacies of spoken language skills and comprehension in English and Spanish. I love teaching the details of language for better understanding of what is being said and, consequently, comprehension of what is actually being communicated.
I have a Masters in Education and am a licensed teacher in English, Spanish, and English as a Second Language for K - 12. I have taught children from preschool through high school for over 25 years with experience in the classroom, homeschool classroom, online classroom, and community education. I have also taught not only in the United States, but in Mexico as well.
My core belief is that student learning comes from patience and a positive attitude.
Therefore, I will always do my best to advance a student's learning through a climate that is friendly, interactive, and that supports as well as encourages a students’ learning and understanding.
When I mentioned that I taught school in Mexico, well, more than that happened. I met and married my husband in Mexico. We now have two daughters, two little dogs, and four small grandchildren. 리뷰
