I taught English as a Second Language for 5+ years in a public school setting. I also have experience teaching ESL to Chinese and Turkish speakers virtually. I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Puerto Rico.

Outschool recommends parental guidance using outside resources; I will use Duolingo and Boom cards. Duolingo is an interactive language learning app that helps with speech, reading, and writing skills. Boom Cards is an interactive game-based website where I can create lesson materials, games, and activities. No link will be provided to these activities as they will be used during class time as a supplement to the lesson. The teacher will provide worksheets weekly and post them on the class page.
