In this 25 minute class, students will be introduced to the basic concepts of telling time on an analog clock-face. In this introductory lesson, we will talk about how to read a clock-face (clockwise) direction, how to identify the short-hand and the long-hand of the clock, how to count by 5s around the clock, and even learn a catchy song to help remember how to read an analog clock! For certain portions of the class, I made need to mute the students in order for them to hear the songs we will be singing together clearly. I will ask them to unmute whenever the singing portion is done! Also, if students are being disruptive please know that I will mute them at my discretion to keep a good learning environment for all the other learners as well. However, I will still give kids who have a harder time being quiet opportunities to unmute and participate in the class as well.
