Gather your play dough or clay and let's learn, create and chat while making new friends! In this fun, engaging and educational, ongoing social club class, we will gather together once each week to learn, create and chat about a new theme and make something related to the topic. It will be so much fun for everyone to show what they have created! Students will practice their fine motor skills, social skills and creativity as we discuss the theme of the week together and create while students discuss what they're creating. week 1: summer week 2: sloths week 3: fall/autumn week 4: the zoo week 5: space week 6: koalas week 7: woodland animals week 8: ocean creatures week 9: pets week 10: caterpillars & butterflies week 11: farm animals week 12: fun foods week 13: safari week 14: weather week 15: transportation week 16: polar animals week 17: winter and more! Hello! I love being an Outschool teacher and look forward to every class! I am here to serve you and your student and it is my goal to make learning fun!
I have several years of experience teaching pre-k and kindergarten readiness, phonics, phonemic and phonological awareness, reading, English, Language Arts and more. I also have over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring and have classroom experience from preschool through 12th grade, all subjects and all learning levels in public, private and homeschool settings. I have experience as a homeschool co-op teacher and mom as well. I absolutely love teaching.
Here are some of my qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts
- Over 20 years of full-time classroom experience
- 4 years of online teaching and tutoring experience
- Experience teaching and tutoring neurodivergent students
- Current 120 hour TESOL certification / ESL teaching experience
I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, creative and rewarding. I love to encourage my students and cheer them on throughout their learning journeys. In addition to fun, interactive group classes, I offer personalized, one on one tutoring.
My classes are EST (Eastern Standard Time) in the U.S. I offer classes ranging from 6am to 9pm EST in an effort to serve learners in a variety of locations.
