In this ongoing class we will study a different animal or plant life cycle each week. This interactive class meets twice a week for 30 minutes. In the first class of the week we will learn about the life cycle of the animal through books, songs or games. In the second class of the week we will review the life cycle and complete a fun project. Learning Goals: -Understand what a life cycle is - a series of changes that an organism goes through from the beginning to end of their life span -Learn specific stages of different life cycles of different organisms -Broaden vocabulary and learn different scientific terms -Listening and following directions
Upon enrollment, you will receive a supply list for the upcoming week. Typical supplies for our art projects would include construction paper, scissors, glue, crayons or colored pencils. For our first meeting we will be making a ladybug life cycle wheel. Supplies needed: -2 white paper plates (choose cheap ones that are easy to cut!) OR 2 8" white cardstock circles -colored pencils or crayons -scissors -brass fastener
