Are you looking for an interactive class that is filled with engaging activities, pretend play, and learning opportunities? This class has it all! Every week, I will take your little one on a new adventure to a different area of the world, such as the Arctic, a tropical rainforest, a coral reef, and even outer space. We will actively explore and learn about the animals, plants, climate and landscape. Each week, learners will be provided with a worksheet or coloring sheet to help focus and enhance their learning. Learners are encouraged to bring toys and props that are appropriate for the adventure (mittens for our trip to the Arctic, snorkel for our adventure into the ocean, etc.). We will learn through photos, videos, songs, fingerplays, pretend play, and active discussion. We will occasionally make a simple craft made with supplies such as paper plates, toilet paper tubes, paper, markers, glue, and scissors, while other classes will require playdough. I will post a list of required supplies in the classroom each week. Learners will be actively engaged in learning about geography, science, animals, nature, weather, and climate, while learning a variety of preschool concepts such as days of the week, time, letters, numbers, and shapes.

Neurodiverse learners are welcome! I will provide extra support by adjusting my pacing and voice volume, modeling, providing extra time to respond, and accommodating participation in a way that is comfortable (video off, etc.).
