- Students will become familiar with the the concept of print, develop and practice phonological awareness skills, learn the names of the letters of the alphabet, develop phonics skills, and build vocabulary.
I am an experienced preschool teacher and a literacy tutor. I love creating engaging literacy lessons that combine learning and play.
A one page hand out will be available for some classes. In other classes, we will use play dough (or equivalent), or we will do a simple craft (typical materials needed are paper, glue stick, paper plate, scissors, crayons or markers, a pencil, etc.). Please check the classroom for details each week. Please be available to supervise your child as necessary during class time when using scissors, glue, or playdough.
