Do you love dressing up for Halloween? Join me as we learn some ballet dance moves and play Halloween themed dance games! Dancers will learn age appropriate foundational ballet technique, use their imaginations and talk about their costumes during show and tell. No previous dancing experience is required. Please wear a costume that is easy to move in and have a water bottle nearby during the class. // CLASS STRUCTURE // We will start class with short introductions and costume show and tell....
Dancers will learn age appropriate ballet fundamentals (1st and 2nd position, turns, footwork and jumps) while using their imaginations. Dancers will improve their balance, flexibility, coordination and musicality.
I have 14 years of experience teaching dance to children in dance studios around the world. I was a member of dance groups in the United States and Egypt. I was the co-president of my university's dance troupe. I hold a dance instructor training certificate from Australia. I am also a certified K-12 educator in the United States.

Please provide a space that has enough space for your child to dance safely. Your dancer should wear a costume which allows them to move safely and have a water bottle nearby. Please mention any injuries prior to the class so I can modify the moves as needed. Zoom muting/unmuting: I will mute students during dancing so everyone can hear the music and my voice. Your child can unmute themself to ask questions at the start and end of the class or during water breaks, so please be aware that they may need some help. They will have to accept the “unmute” on their screen. By signing up for this class you understand that dance, like any physical activity, involves some risk and take responsibility for any physical injury which occurs during class.
