In this ongoing art class, students will learn about a variety of arts and crafts techniques, while socializing with each other and the teacher. The topics I will cover will be process art, learning about being an artist and using art materials, and how art is found everywhere in both nature and the man made world. Students will gain familiarity with art materials, learn how to follow step by step directions, and develop eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity. Students will become more confident with their art and the creative process.
I will send out a detailed list of supplies needed each week for each individual project. White art paper Construction paper multi color Crayons and/or Oil Pastels Watercolor paints, water, brushes Crayola Project Paint or other poster paints Play-dough Craft Google Eyes, ribbon, any other craft materials that you already have at home.
