During this class students will draw and cut a tree to a specific size to match their canvas. We will discuss colors and students will make their own choices. They will apply tissue paper to create an eye catching background and finally position the tree carefully to complete the picture. I will guide the students step by step though all stages of the project. No previous experience is necessary for this class. I studied in England to obtain my Bachelor of Education degree with an Art and Design specialism. I have enjoyed the position of Art and Design coordinator. During my years as a teacher some of my most memorable and rewarding times were as the after school “Art Club” teacher. I love to be surrounded by those who enjoy creating. I throw very little away and am always asking myself “What can i make with that?’ I love to create with all manner of materials exploring color, texture, line, form, pattern and composition. Our house is filled with all the imaginative things my daughters and I have made over the years. I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher who believes that art is available to all no matter their experience.
