In this delicious course, students will engage in the four core curriculum areas using fun, ice cream crafts, projects, and handouts. Students will be engage academically while also having fun with a sweet treat theme! They won't even know they're learning! Week #1- Math: explore elementary level math concepts with ice cream theme handouts and manipulatives including cotton ball counting and ice cream scoop number match. Week #2- Reading: read different stories about ice cream, both fiction...
Students will get extra practice with general elementary topics such as math and language arts. They will learn about the components of ice cream and how it is made.

Students will be asked to follow links to watch YouTube videos. They may need an adult account to watch videos that may be blocked under the child accounts. Students may follow links to watch presentations on Canva, this will not require a login. Students will need to create a guest account and nickname for Kahoot! and Nearpod. They will also need a class code. Students will follow a shared link to a google slides presentation. No login is required.
