I have been teaching online for about 15 years, and I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology that I completed in an online program. I am also a Homeschool mom for 20+ years. I have taught multiple students to read, write, type, and various other subjects over the years. I enjoy finding that right method to help students learn best that is unique to them. :)

Student will need to complete assignments weekly to help improve their skills to be able to move to the intermediate and advanced typing classes. Students need to practice a minimum of 15 minutes a day. All students will be given a letter grade during each lesson they complete. Parents are encouraged to help students be sure to complete their weekly assignments and to practice daily for a minimum of 15 minutes. Student will need a computer with a working keyboard and mouse. Students will also need a second device (phone, computer, tablet) to login to the outschool classroom at the same time as they are logged into typing.com. A printout of the hand placement for each student is available to print if student would like to print it out.
