US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
In this playful 1-1 class, we will work on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency and vocabulary to work with your learner on learning to read! Each class will include playful games, songs, decodables (when ready), poems and visuals will help us along the way! I also love using themes that have to do with your learner’s interests! Since this is a 1-1 class, we can begin at any level that your learner needs. Beginning topics can include: Letter names, beginning letter sounds, short vowel sounds, blending, phonics rules and more! I will use a systematic and explicit curriculum sequence to build on these skills to help your early learner move along on their reading journey! I will use your learners' interests and strengths to build each lesson. This class can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 days each week.

Supply List
Learners will need access to paper and a writing utensil (pencil, markers, crayons etc.). Access to a printer to print out occasional printable activities is helpful too.
