In our Learn to Play D&D class, students will learn the basics of playing the world’s biggest tabletop roleplaying game: Dungeons and Dragons. We’ll cover basic rules, character sheets, and make new friends as we embark on a short tutorial adventure. This course is a great way to get started in the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons. I'll explain the fundamentals of the game in a way that's accessible to newcomers.

- We'll talk about the game's character creation tools and the steps you need to take to make a memorable hero.
- We'll get into the specifics of the Dungeons & Dragons ruleset, which, like any game, has its own set of guidelines.
- We'll use some simple algebra to learn how the D&D dice system and modifiers work together to decide the outcomes of encounters.

To wrap things up, we'll take everything we learned and use it on a mini adventure! Cornelius Copperpotneeds help from a local adventurer. Mr. Copperpot needs to bring his goods from Fernhollow to Emberhill, the next town over. The only problem is he needs to cross the Fernwood Forest, where skeletons, snakes, and other magical creatures lurk in the shadows. Can you help him cross the woods safely?
