초보자를 위한 피아노 배우기 4-6세 (4주 코스)

This class will be a hands-on, enjoyable experience learning the very basics of piano, and will serve as the perfect way to "test the waters" and see if your child is ready and has the desire to try private lessons on a long-term basis. This class will be interactive, and each student will be given time to play and practice as we go through class. My teaching style for this age is very fun, happy, and encouraging to the students as they discover the joy of learning piano. I love to sing and play short songs and notes as we learn and grow together. Each student will be given one on one moments to practice the skills they are learning, receive encouragement, and play some of the songs we will learn together. By the end of the course each student will be able to read basic rhythm, understand the music alphabet and several music terms, and play well-known songs like Mary Had a Little Lamb, Old MacDonald, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. 
Topics to cover each class:
Lesson 1 - Finger numbering, black vs white keys, left hand vs right hand, pitch, dynamics (loud and soft), quarter and half notes.
Lesson 2 - Bar lines and double bar lines, measures, repeat signs, whole notes, counting rhythm.
Lesson 3 - Music alphabet, dotted half notes, Middle C Position.
Lesson 4 - Treble and Bass clef, staffs.
Please make sure to have a piano or keyboard ready to use during class.
