수업 소개
In this 3 Day Camp, students will work on a craft, review Spanish vocabulary, and practice conversations to answer a question that requests for information. Each week, there will be crafts related to a theme, and there will be different themes along the Summer months. The questions that we will be answering are: What/When/Where/How/Why/Who/Which, and it will repeat again with different vocabulary. It will be a bilingual class English/Spanish, with lots of Spanish emphasis. On the last day of each camp, Students will be challenged with Games and activities that will review all the vocabulary. Students should know basic vocabulary to join this class such as animals, colors, the alphabet, and numbers up to 20 to keep the conversation flowing. Check the classroom and print the PDF with the craft. There will also be an audio for the students to practice the pronunciation and a PDF with vocabulary that can be printed or be accessed with another device. June's Theme: Welcome Summer Day One: Students will create Summer clothing, practicing vocabulary related to clothing, colors, patterns and accessories. Day Two: Students will dress up one or several models to show their Summer collection. Students will answer the question, "What are you wearing?"/ "What is she/he wearing?", "What are they wearing" Day Three: Students will play a "Fashion and accessory Game " with challenges, fun activities, and games. ** The PDFs with Crafts and Vocabulary will be sent the day before the beginning of the Camp. **The main vocabulary will be sent in a PDF with an audio to practice the pronunciation, Please PRINT the PDF with the Craft each day. It will be posted inside the classroom the day before each class. In order for students to complete the crafts they will need scissors, glue, colors, markers, or crayons. Have them ready for each class. CLASS RECORDING POLICY: I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners (many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child). However, you are welcome to watch and participate with your child, OFF SCREEN, to comply with Outschool Policy, so that you can have access to the content.

Hello, I am Diana Vivas, I am a Kidding Around Yoga certified Instructor and an Official Zümbini Instructor. I have been helping families for more than 15 years organizing routines that included creative movement, math, reading and listening comprehension, when I looked for a Mindful and movement program to incorporate in my activities I noticed there weren’t many for younger children so I decided to get certified in Yoga for Children and Zümbini and teach it myself. I work with children using hands on exploration through social interaction and play, encouraged by music and using nature to help children learn about their environment.
During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness and music.
Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.리뷰
