My art classes are always fun and educational. Students are encouraged to interact, but it is never required. They will learn to draw lines and basic shapes and use them to draw Animals in Trees, on the Land, and in the Sea through live demonstrations and support. My goal is to connect with students and inspire them to complete the drawings by embellishing them with things fueled by their own imaginations. Students will be given the opportunity to share their art with the class and make new friends if they choose. 

This is an ongoing class you can enroll for as many or as few classes as you wish. 
Students will learn to see basic shapes in animals and use them as a guide to sketch them. Pencil control and sketching will be demonstrated and encouraged each week. 

Weeks 1-4: Animals in Trees
Week 1 - Class 1  = Owl  
Week 2 - Class 2 = Koala
Week 3 - Class 3 =  Sloth
Week 4 - Class 4 = Bat

Weeks 5 - 9: Animals on Land
Week 5 - Class  5 = Fox 
Week 6 - Class 6 = Dog
Week 7  - Class  7 = Turtle
Week 8  - Class  8 = Tiger 
Week 9 - Class  9 = Elephant

Weeks 10 -16: Animals in the Sea
Week 10 - Class 10 = Whale
Week 11 - Class 11 = Sea Turtle
Week 12 - Class 12 = Dolphin 
Week 13 - NO CLASS
Week 14 - Class 13 =  Narwhal
Week 15 - Class 14 = Seahorse
Week 16 - Class 15 = Walrus
 

All who are interested are welcome, no previous experience is required.
Demonstrations are completed using a pencil, paper, and an eraser. 
Color crayons, pencils, or markers are optional and welcome.
Each class will begin with a silly warm-up prompt allowing students to draw and express themselves in their own way. We share ideas with one another as we complete the scene. 
This class is paced by the students in attendance and may vary from week to week. When students have completed the drawing portion of their art and have had the opportunity to share it, the class will be over. 
Students may want to spend more time after class coloring their drawings.

Students who enroll after the first class of the each series will receive a warm welcome. If needed, I will share  pertinent class materials, guidelines, and resources to get them up to speed.  Please note you will only have access to class content from your enrollment starts. 

*Camera on preferred for on-the-spot support and for safety, per Outschool. 
*Siblings and/or co-learners must each be enrolled to attend. All students must be enrolled separately per Outschool policy. Unenrolled students at the time of class will be placed in the waiting room until the parent can enroll them.
*All class times are approximate and may end early based on student ability and pace.
*All classes will begin on time as long as the learner is in the classroom. If all students are absent at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes.
