Learners have fun with Rozine's curriculum which includes seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design. During this course, students draw robots in their fantastical environments. Students can take this one-time class as an on-going course. Each new session is an opportunity to practicing drawing robots in their home or workspace. Rozine will guide students step by step, stacking basic geometric shapes with pencil until the basic shape of the robot is established. Details, like rivets,...
Rozine has illustrated and published nine coloring books. She also taught cartooning classes in Chicago and Los Angeles since 2006. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging connection amongst others, as well as confident self-expression.
Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper. Pencils and erasers are a must. Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. A Sharpie marker is optional. Students can frame their artwork by stapling or taping it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional).
Inspired by Waldorf teaching methods, Rozine encourages independent thinking and creative problem solving in the classroom. Like the title of her first book, "Live Life For A Living," Rozine is living a dream making a living doing what she loves....
