This course will examine the wide range of career opportunities in sports broadcasting and sports podcasting. Our 90 minute class will also look at the process for writing a podcast, sports topics, and creating a sports broadcast/podcast. Our main learning goals will be to learn about careers in sports - specifically sports broadcasting and/or sports podcasting. This course will explain the process or the "how to" in creating a sports broadcast or podcast, but students will also gain the experience to practice and create their sports broadcast and/or podcast.
