They will learn how to effectively build individual Pokémon and teams that will increase theirs odds at succeeding in battles while getting the opportunity to improve their skills in battles with their coach and fellow learners. Coach will provide feedback through open discussion with learners. Themes Include: Week of 9/9: Type Interactions and Battles Week of 9/16: Teambuilding and Battles Week of 9/23: Speed Control and Battles Week of 9/30: IVs, EVs, Natures and Battles

Learners will improve their understanding of fundamentals necessary to begin playing competitive Pokémon either online or at in-person tournaments: stats, teambuilding, battling skills, and healthy competitive mindset.

Learners will need to use a Nintendo Switch with a copy of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet. The Teal Mask and Blueberry Academy downloadable content is highly recommended for the best experience. I have coached people of all ages in group fitness and team sports settings.
