Hello Parents and Students! My name is Maya and thank you for your interest in my class! From 2021-2023 I was lucky enough to have lived in Korea for 2.5 years, during which I learned much about the language and culture through working in a Korean school, studying Korean language, and daily life. Daily interactions with Korean students and coworkers provided constant exposure to the language's nuances, and living with Korean roommates further helped solidify my language skills. Working and studying in Korea provided me with invaluable opportunities to deepen my understanding of the Korean language, culture, and people. Learning and living in Korea was one of the most enriching experiences in my life, so now I want to help spread Korean language and cultural knowledge to more people. I hope to see you in class! :) Currently, I only teach beginner students. 빈도: 요청 시 이용 가능피드백: 요청 시 이용 가능세부 내용: We will have weekly homework using the Seogang Workbook. Students can buy the workbook and textbook or I can provide print outs. Students can send me photos of their completed homework and I will check for completion and correct any mistakes.
None, this class is for beginners with no prior knowledge. If you already know hangul, that is okay too.
Notebook (Students NEED to take notes in class) Flashcards (Online or physical) Writing utensil Printer Seogang Workbook 1A (Optional to buy since I can provide a PDF. Read notes below) Textbook Notes: If you are planning on buying any of the books for this class(not required, just optional to buy), I recommend buying the Student Workbook BEFORE you buy the Student Book/Textbook. If you have an Ipad or a drawing tablet, you don't have to buy anything and can screenshot the PDF of the books I send you and write on them. I will supply a PDF of the Workbook and Student Textbook so you can look at both but I recommend buying just the workbook and using the textbook online to save money. If you want to buy both, the class uses Seogang Students Book 1A and Workbook 1A.
