This on-going course provides 3-5 year old learners with opportunity to practice important academic and social skills. Each class will begin with a welcome song and songs to practice days of the week and months of the year. Stories and finger plays will be integrated regularly. A general skill will be provided for each class but the content will not be taught in isolation. All content areas and social skills will be incorporated into each class as a particular skill is highlighted. Here...

Learners will practice skills which help prepare them for preschool or kindergarten. Learners will demonstrate understanding of skills presented in class. Learners will engage with the teacher and fellow classmates to develop social skills.
I bring more than 30 years of experience as a primary teacher to this class and I am versed in helping students excel in academic areas.
Learning objectives, materials and supplies needed for each session will be posted in the classroom no less than 24 hours ahead of class. Materials will include typical household/learning materials. Handouts/printouts are not needed.
There are no third party tools or websites in this class. The Outschool Platform is the only resource utilizes.
Teacher created stories, songs and finger plays will be utilized in class.
