In each tutoring session, I will ask your child what they are currently learning in math to see what they already know. We will work a problem together before moving onto a more challenging skill. Every session will be different because each child will have a different need and and other skills they may need to work on. Some of the skills that we will work on are: Adding with and without regrouping, subtracting with or with out regrouping, measuring, geometry, counting beyond 100, number recognition to 100. I will also give a work packet to be printed off and we will complete it during our session.  Below is an idea of what will happen during the tutoring session.


1. Arrival and discussion with the child about what they are currently learning in math. We will work one problem to check for understanding.
2.We will begin learning a more challenging skill that is above grade level.
3. We will practice the new skill(Please bring extra paper or a marker board to each session)
4. Next, we will play a brain challenge game.
5. Last, we will wrap up the session with a review session reviewing math facts and other skills that we have already learned.

**Note: This is a subscription meaning that your card will be charged every Sunday when there is a session that week until you stop subscription. If there is no class one week, then your card will not be charged.

**Note: If you are wanting your child to have tutoring twice a week, then please book for two days.
