캥거루 수학 경연 대회 준비반: 5학년 및 6학년

The Math Kangaroo competition, an international math competition for students in grades 1-12, is held annually. The competition is held in over 100 countries with millions of students participating. The competition is held once a year, always on the third Thursday in March. 

The competition for grades 5 and 6 focuses on developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills through engaging math problems. 

Each class will have a basic, medium, and hard questions from previous Kangaroo Math competitions for Grades 5-6. We will have fun as we solve problems together. 

We will cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and then fractions and decimals.
 
We will solve Geometry problems involving perimeter and area as well as problems involving cubes and rectangular solids. We will also work on problems with acute, right, and obtuse angles and lines and rays on a surface.
 
Will will also problems using mathematical logic, clocks, calendars, and magic squares.

My teaching style is fun and interactive trying to include everyone.
