This on-going class is created for students that need consistent one-on-one tutoring services for specific reading skills. Students will receive a reading assessment to determine needs in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression. Students needing accommodations for language development, diverse learning needs, or advanced learning needs are welcome and encouraged!
I am a fully-certified special education teacher with 24 years experience working with students in below grade level, at grade level and advanced level placements. I have experience working with neurodiverse student that need accommodations and support. I also have language acquisition certification for English learners.
