Calling all dino-loving artists! In this class, we’ll draw dinosaurs together while learning fun, easy techniques to break them down into simple shapes. By recognizing the key features of each dinosaur, students will build confidence in their drawing skills and develop the ability to sketch any dinosaur they find! This is a beginner-friendly drawing class where students of all skill levels are welcome. Our goal is to foster a love of drawing and creativity while encouraging each student to observe closely, explore their imagination, and add their own unique flair to their artwork. Each week, we’ll learn a little about our featured dinosaur, sketch it together with guided steps, and have time to personalize our creations. At the end of class, students will be invited (but never required!) to share their drawings and chat about their other artistic projects. Beyond just drawing, this class also helps young learners practice key skills, including: ✅ Observational skills ✅ Shape recognition ✅ Fine motor skills ✅ Following directions ✅ Asking questions & participating in discussions 🦕 Want even more dino fun? This class pairs perfectly with our Dinosaur Collectors’ Club, where we explore prehistoric creatures in greater depth with weekly show-and-tell, games, and discussions! Some discussion of dinosaurs will involve mentioning how they hunt and eat meat (if they are carnivores). I have never had an issue, but children who are sensitive to this subject should be aware. I do my best to keep the class pretty tame and age-appropriate.
수업 자료
Blank paper or a drawing pad/sketchbook (recommended). I prefer SPIRAL BOUND so that it may be opened flat for easier drawing. Pencils, pens, colored pencils, or other drawing/coloring supplies. Pencil Sharpener Good, working eraser Printer (for printing references if needed--I will also show them on-screen in class) Show-and-tell (can be other artwork or projects the student has been working on, or other dinosaur-related paraphernalia) Here is a link to suggested supplies/examples found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2IH1KEKIZYYHF?ref_=wl_share
