Some people find Shakespeare intimidating. I firmly believe that EVERY student can read and understand his work through guidance and careful study. Students will read, analyze, and interpret Shakespeare through discussion and written work. We will talk about themes, symbolism, rhyme, and writing style. I love empowering learners to take control of the learning process. I will guide them with thought provoking questions that critical thinking. I love Shakespeare and get excited about sharing his beautiful work with others. We will have fun reading and studying the literature together.
Students will be given worksheets to complete while reading. All reading is to be completed outside of class. The worksheets will be guiding questions that we will refer to during class.
