영어레벨 - Pre-A1

미국 Kindergarten학년 - 3학년 학년

Hello, my name is Teacher Kandy and my puppet friend, Bob, loves adventure and journeying around the world! (Maybe even outside our world) 🤭This is a PRIVATE  13-week ongoing course.  Each week Bob will journey to a new destination and the students will learn fun and amazing facts about the things they see. 
    Each class has an original slideshow that centers around Bob's adventure for that week. There are videos, quizzes, mishaps and excitement.  Also, every class has a unique coloring page with Bob on it and a Certificate of Completion, which you will receive the week of class. I will send you the video preview for each class when I send the handouts.   
    I like to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere but also structured for optimum learning. ESL learners are welcome, they will need a basic grasp of the English language in order to follow the storyline.  
    I have provided a parent's checklist so the student can check off the classes as they complete them and they will know which class is coming next.

3rd week  -  Journey to the Continents
4th week  -  Journey to the Dinosaurs
5th week  -  Journey to a Safari
6th week  -  Journey to the Big Cats
7th week  -  Journey to the Plants With Bob!
8th week   - Journey to the Desert (Habitat)
9th week   - Journey to the Hot Desert (Animals)
10th week - Journey to the Arctic Desert (Animals)
11th week  - Journey to the Antarctica Desert (Animals)
12th week - Fire Safety With Bob!
13th week - Help Bob Survive (Survival Backpack)

PLEASE WATCH MY INTRO VIDEO FOR A LIST OF ALL MY AVAILABLE CLASSES
Hello! My name is Kandy Bickart and I live in North Carolina, USA. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, an Associate Degree in Biological Science and a TESOL certificate.

I've always had a passion for teaching. I have over 15 years teaching experience both in the classroom and online. I taught in the elementary school level and then became an instructor at my local Community College in the GED and ESL program. I have also enjoyed teaching ESL online to children for the past six years.

BOB CLASSES - I have designed courses for both preschool, elementary ages and ESL students. My courses have unique content with entertaining and informative slideshow. I have included a fun puppet friend named Bob throughout the slideshows, which allows the students to be truly engaged while learning.

READING/WRITING CLASSES - I also have an ongoing reading and writing course with the Wonders Curriculum. I have tried to make it more fun and engaging by presenting it in a slideshow with videos, animations and sound effects. Learning to read and write has never been so much fun!

PHONICS - I have recently added a phonics ongoing course using the Star Curriculum, which uses a fun, interactive and animated slideshow.

SPEAKING CLASSES - I use an effective concept created by Cambridge University that presents a colorful picture with a lot of action going on. This gives a shy student or a student that loves to talk the opportunity to tell me all what they see. I have added some fun activities to keep the student engaged.

READING CLASSES - There are two separate reading course, beginner first grade and mid-year second grade. I have animated the short stories which makes them even more engaging. We learn phonics, reading comprehension and more.

I believe that children learn best in a relaxed but structured environment that encourages them to express themselves. I also feel that children should have fun while they are learning! So FUN is always part of my lesson plan!
