Italiano per Piccolini. 어린이를 위한 원어민과 함께하는 이탈리아어 수업.

This is an Italian-language introductory class for young learners that are building their language and listening skills through age-appropriate activities, songs, and curated lessons.

I am a patient, enthusiastic, positive, challenging, and motivating teacher.

All are welcome. No prior knowledge is needed to enroll. 

Students will learn to understand and communicate in Italian in a range of everyday situations, develop basic skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Italian, learn vocabulary and expressions to talk about everyday and familiar topics, become more aware of the culture and diversity of Italy and its regions, and develop study skills to become a successful language learner. 

Session I summary: 

Week 1:  ”First Words and Numbers!” Discover the Italian language through fun activities like drawing, coloring, crafts, and songs! We’re learning our numbers in Italian this week! The numbers 1 - 10.

Week 2: "Animals and Kind Gestures!" Learn your please’s and thank-you’s this week while drawing, coloring, and crafting throughout the animal kingdom! Learn how to greet and use words of politeness! Review what we have already learned.

Week 3: "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes!" We’re learning how to say our body parts in Italian while drawing, coloring, and singing songs! Review what we have already learned.

Week 4: "Rain, Sun or Snow!" We’re learning all about the weather and how to describe it while drawing, coloring, and singing songs! Review what we have already learned.

Week 5: "Buildings and What’s Inside!" We’re learning the names of buildings around town while drawing, coloring, and singing songs! Review what we have already learned.

Week 6: "A Colorful Italian Garden!" We’re learning the names of the plant life around us and their colors while drawing, coloring, and singing songs! Review what we have already learned.
