In this ongoing course, we will meet once a week. Each class we will be learning about a different invention. Learners will discover the importance of science, and exploring new things. Learners will also gain an understanding on why certain inventions are so important to people and the way of life. Some of the inventions we will be learning about will be life changing and others will be extremely unique and well thought out. As in all my classes, they are discussion based, and child led. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and engage in conversation. This class will be taught through PowerPoint as a guide for pictures and facts. Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
