This course will investigate scientific concepts relating to the care of animals and animal body systems. This one-semester course is intended for students to familiarize themselves with the knowledge and skills required for a career in the veterinary industry. I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 10 years in a general practice veterinary hospital. I have worked with both livestock and companion animals in the workplace as well as managing a herd of registered Charolais and Red Angus cattle. I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education- Biological sciences and I am currently obtaining a masters degree in veterinary clinical care.
