Students will have a clear understanding of the basics of reading music and will be able to apply this new knowledge through group songs and short musical compositions. 

I have taught music at universities such as Oklahoma City University, University of Central Oklahoma, and The University of Nevada. I love teaching and have taught with youth programs such as, Interlochen Arts Academy, Reimagining Opera for Kids, and Utah Festival Opera's Broadway Bound. I also have a thriving online studio where I teach music theory, voice, and acting. When I am not teaching music I am performing. I am a professional opera singer and earned my bachelor and master of music performance from Indiana University. I have performed all over the United States and I am now based out of Las Vegas, Nevada

There will be a short homework assignment assigned every week. The assignment will not require any extra reading or research. This is a way for the student to solidify what was learned in class. We will go over over the assignments at the beginning of every class.
