Student will be introduced to the Scatch platform. Our focus with be logic statements including if and while commands. A goal in this class is to become comfortable with how Scratch uses various coding functions. This will have an drastic effect when creating basic animations and controls. This class is project based learning, so they will leave with a product to take pride in. Students will learn varous commands to manipulate graphics. Including but not limited to component interactions and logic statements.
I have taught technology education including computer science for 8 years, 3 years at middle schools and 5 years at the high school level.
