저널링 소개: 저널링과 연결

In this Journal and Connect course students will learn about the creative outlet of keeping a personal journal. An introduction of how and why people journal or keep a diary, as well as the value it can be as a tool for self-reflection and self-care. Students will be given a writing prompt and 5 minutes to write a brief journal entry based on the provided prompt. If comfortable, students are encouraged to share something that they enjoyed, disliked or were surprised about their thought process when writing their journal. Open discussion will be had amongst the group. Students are not expected to share their journal entries. 
At the end of the class, students will be given a follow-up statement or question about the provided writing prompt to continue their journal entry on their own time if they wish. This is not a homework assignment, but students are welcome and encouraged to continue their journal entries independently.

This is NOT an academic class. Students will NOT be graded or judged for their writing skills, they are not expected to submit their journal entries to the teacher. Students are encouraged to read their entries or part of their entry with the class for discussion.
