캐릭터 디자인 소개

In this three class course, we will explore how to create fun and engaging characters with personalities that include but not limited to case studies, from colors to shape language and bring a character from concept to reality! 

PROCESS:
DAY ONE
1) Character Briefs - we'll draft character concepts and ideas by brainstorming with case studies and choosing from a combination of word banks in the first process of coming up with personalities for our characters
2) start with basic shapes and color choices/palettes for our character's archetypes 
3) early development of sketches and design

DAY TWO
1) beginning of designing costumes and overall looks of your character based on personality
2) development of character expressions and poses

DAY THREE
1) continuation of character expressions and poses
2) development of character turnarounds
3) viola, we have a fully realized, fleshed out character of your very own making!

OPTIONAL BUT HELPFUL SKILLS TO HAVE PRIOR TO REGISTERING:
Basic understanding of shapes, color, and perspective.

FUN FACT:
Props can be used to compliment for your very own character you create via my other character design courses or if you already have one of your own!
